Now cllr @MattBennett29 demanding publication of report which appears to have cleared cllr @WaseemZaffar over hijabgate last year. Council leader says it is up to independent chair of standards cttee to publish but agrees case took far too long to conclude #bcclive

Several FOI’s have been done about it and not one has been responded the same. The Council would never say who was investigating him. A complete whitewash like the HRG one.

Wonder if specific words
@WaseemZaffar placed on Facebook agreed with the Chair of Committee for Standards ? And perhaps one of the below Cllr would like to break ranks? Cllr Bennett could ask Ms D Alden for some info ? In view of @garysambrookKS Q membership looks interesting.pic.twitter.com/CNym42PPsm

A very important point. In addition given the bad publicity Birmingham received at the time of
#Hijabgate#trojanhorse 1 would think that this vindication of the Cllr would also be seen as a vindication of the council#Suffrage100#Suffragette100#bcclive & restoring reputations -
One imagines that Wilshaw Casey & Ally will now be asked to apologise for their rash and harsh judgement at the time of
#Hijabgate & the local & national press made to report the findings of the Cttee.#Bcclive#Suffrage100#Suffragette100 - Antwoorden weergeven
