How very dare you insult people of Bordesley Green. Investment in parks Cllr. O'Shea? Henry Barber Park been like this for years, don't blame Covid.

Reported this burnt out bin in Henry Barber Park on numerous occasions sine 2016, how incompetent as a Council do you have to be to not deal with my requests?pic.twitter.com/y6plU1b0Je

You could organise and set up a Friends group? Reclaim the park for its intended purpose.

Good idea, but as we pay Council Tax, are we not entitled to have park cleaned? What would happen if Cannon Hill & Kings Heath parks were treated same way as council treats Henry Barber Park? Are people in Bordesley Green worth less? What doesn't the Ward Cllr. do something?

Our parks department has really suffered through austerity. We need to pull together as citizens. Services are focussed on the flagship parks such as Cannon Hill which is why we need to help as citizens. Don’t wait around for the Council to act. We’re not with our local park.

What I can't understand, if Birmingham can find £200 million to contribute to £800 million Commonwealth Games, it can't find funding to replace a bin destroyed in 2016. Bin replacement has nothing to do with austerity, when council spending £25 million on Floozie in the Jacuzzi.pic.twitter.com/cH9VobEENv

The council has sliced away at street cleaning budgets, saving quite small sums, and then denied there being a reduction of service. The loss of bins seems to indicate how it's been done. @rogerbhx
