Bob served for about 18 months (8 Jan 2013 to 1 July 2014) he served Policing for 33 years & received a CBE. His article in the Guardian said it all. I attended Lloyd House the briefing meetings before the first PCC elections, at which the structure of how PCCs would operate, the administration of the office of the PCC and the law which governed them etc. The bureaucracy was in place before Bob took office. Bob was a good guy.
