It has congestion because it is a bottleneck for access into and through Birmingham, not just from Walsall but from large parts of north Birmingham.Whatever forms of transport we have in the future, there will still be 400,000 people with an interest in getting into the city.

Yes but as you well know 400,000 people in cars take up a lot more space than the same number using public transport or cycling.

More than happy to support the junction 7 Park and Ride proposal. Have championed park and ride for many years. But its users will expect a seamless journey into the city. No point in the buses stopping at Perry Barr as no significant jobs are being provided there. Save the X51!
