Just one q - do you think #NoDealBrexit is the outcome the city and region needs/wants?

Short term no, but shouldnt Democracy be supreme? PM says there is ample time to discuss any deal coming after EU Summit 17th October- and a deal is still preferred option. Listen to PM’s announcement. Parliament sitting days shortened by some 5 days so not much actual difference

Absolutely no credible evidence that public voted for a no deal stampede out of the EU in 2016. They were promised a "great deal."

Did you read all the documents sent you and follow all the debates - or did you vote, like many people, on instinct and impression?

I read, debated, participated, read some more campaigned, read left and right newspapers, listened on the doorstep, debated with colleagues and friends, absorbed as much as I could. Many people I spoke to were very well informed and well read.

So you will have read the government leaflet which said it could take up to ten years to get an agreement :https://infacts.org/10-brexit-consequences-people-werent-told-about-in-2016/ …

That word "could" again. The point is the public voted for a departure process that 'could' last ten years. That's what voters were told. So why the sudden urgency now?
