This is all feels a bit make-believe but for what it's worth - surely the logical thing is for the Lib Dems to say ok, Corbyn should get first shot. But then if Swinson is right and (despite LD support) he can't win a confidence motion, it's Labour's turn to back Harman or Clarke

It would only delay not stop no deal Brexit if a mishandled interim govt allowed hardline Brexiteers to win subsequent GE.

This is a tangent but have you considered that in practice, the best chance of stopping a no deal Brexit in that election - and of stopping Brexit entirely through a referendum - will be for everyone to vote for Corbyn?

With a majority, Corbyn will delay a referendum until he has negotiated his own version of Brexit. Labour's best chance is to become an unambiguous #remain party and be part of #RemainAlliance
