The CG CEO understands politics. By publicly stating that none of the allotment land was required, he exposed BCC motivations for what they were. Result?pic.twitter.com/T2uiF5Z72B

Elaina Cohen had a one to one meeting with John Crabtree and highlighted the negative impact that Wardy’s policies were having on the city and the games. Could it had come from above to sort out the allotments? Add in the negative news with the way Ward treated

Nothing to do with a 16,000 signature petition then - so far as I can recall the second biggest received by the council? (Also I had cups of coffee with a few people)

1/2 You and Morriam have campaigned relentlessly for months about the negative impact of the games and Ward ignored the flyover petition scrutiny didn’t call it in.The Games CEO even came out and said we don’t need the allotments. Ward has changed his mind on the allotments twice

2/2 My point is that the timing of it all. Ward could have permanently saved the allotments months ago and stopped stress and distress.

@BrumLeader and his Cabinet are spinning that they are reasonable & to listen to the concerns ofstakeholders whereas in reality in many cases they are intransigent & unwilling causing undue anxiety & stress before common sense prevails#lessonswillbelearned keeps being used#bcc1 antwoord 0 retweets 1 vind-ik-leuk -

Only two Cllrs have really helped and that is Lib Dem Cllrs Jon Hunt & Morriam Jan. They have worked their backside off. Wardy going in his chauffeured driven car with champagne is a complete 360, all PR. He has not got the brains to think of this by himself.

The only Labour support came initially from Khalid Mahmood MP’s Parliamentary Office and then Cllr Majid Mahmood & Nicky Brennan. So Wardy doing videos making it look like he is the good guy, promising the allotment holders the world, looks very suspicious.

Below was sent out by Wardy giving Sharon credit

It was part of her portfolio & had 1 secret meeting. The allotments got support from Cllrs Majid Mahmood & Nicky Brennan who are Cllrs for other Wards. You’d have thought Wardy would give credit to the right people

Does anybody know what Wardy’s plans are for the allotments. He was promising them a lot of stuff when he visited I’m told. You’d have thought he would let the sitting Cllrs John Hunt and Morriam Jan know before he told others

That is common protocol isn’t it?1 antwoord 0 retweets 0 vind-ik-leuks
Plans might be too strong a word...My big concern is that the CG members' advisory committee met on Wednesday morning and was kept in the dark. As ward councillor am used to being mushroomed - and don't put up with it.
