How can you not respect your grandmother the Queen enough to at least advise her that you are going to fo this?

When I moved away from Windsor, I didn't have to tell my Grandmother. And when I moved from Toronto to Hamilton I also didn't tell my Grandmother; being 110, she still thinks I live in Toronto. Why does Harry have an obligation to tell his Grandmother?
