They become mutually exclusive when the focus and funding is on the drugs and not on the poverty and economic injustice. That's also how the US uses some vaccines that other countries have found to be unsafe & how we export the ones we found unsafe to countries w/no regulations

Firstly, rich children do die of measles. Secondly, vaccination is one of the greatest promoters of equality, ever. Vaccination promotes social movement and empowers women. It’s incredibly empowering not to suffer from disease; or to bury your dead children. This is the truth.
