Why, in the year 2023, am I STILL being asked by professors to complete assignments focused on calculating my own individual carbon footprint?? Kinda want to just submit a link to this article instead.

.#StopWillow is personal. I’ve been to D.C. multiple times to ensure that ’ climate agenda benefits those most vulnerable in the climate crisis. If Willow is approved, those very ppl will be put in harms way & it would be a slap in the face to ppl like me doing this work.

Reading this terrible news while keeping in mind the outsize influence the US has on climate research and geopolitics (as a gatekeeper/moralizer). Such a position is untenable.

I am gutted that Indigenous leader Eduardo Mendúa of the Cofán – an Amazon nation leading the fight against @Chevron – was just murdered in his village. He was leading a campaign to block new oil wells on his ancestral lands. I fear this was a political assassination. RIP.💔👊
