hey, if you are in the Rust community and you think it's funny to talk about/act out the "Rust Evangelism Strike Force", can u please... not? being pushy evangelists that are rude and insist it's all a joke are a huge pain in the ass. no one likes this. it's a bad look.

The ongoing European heat wave is far from over. On Saturday, temperatures will likely exceed 113°F (45°C) in parts of Portugal and Spain -- close to the all-time record high. That's 35-40°F (20°C) above "normal" for early August. It'll be about the same temperature in Baghdad.

Had a great conversation with one of my brilliant engineers where he pointed out that the thing that makes adopting big open source products hard (his example was bazel, I'd add kubernetes to this list) is "implicit requirements"

So this morning , I was working out with my teenage son. Now when I workout, I always wear a hoodie. Always up. Headband, and headphones. I’ve been going to planet fitness for years. I’m in New Hampshire, and this is my second day going to this location. 1/10

I wish websites would stop overriding fonts, line height, letter spacing, base font size, etc. Just set font-family: serif/sans-serif, and let the font do the job. Makes the text so much more legible! And please stop with the gray-nearly-white text color too...

Reading tweets about American health care is appalling and surreal. Most people in the developed world can’t even imagine the problems you have.
