Miami is a 1000% nicer better place to live than anywhere in the Bay Area right now. Except for the temperature... not sure what to do about that.

I am curious about the reasons (no sarcasm).
I just always found it to be an unfriendly place, and people in he game industry always seemed depressed with no prospects for the future.

This might be because game people have always made dirt wages in the UK, now better than it used to be but still kinda bad, but, that is why one takes the individual initiative to better one’s own situation, and, that just did not seem to be a thing there.

Interesting point of view, even if I am not sure if wages matter that much for an indie dev.
