I don’t recommend trying to abstractly write code like this without some idea of what problem you are solving. Solving a concrete problem will answer most of your questions and help you get it right for at least one application.

I agree Jon, and still I will not write serialization code, but just curious to dwelve more into this topic, that I am ignorant about. I am starting an indie project and am curious to know more about it!
