That's not really true though. I mean as I said before, I'd rather use something better and faster. What do you expect the web dev community to do? Write a different browser? How's that gonna work? Nobody wants to live with legacy APIs and slow code.

Ok, lets take something like CSS. I guarantee you'll have an easier time getting a designer to tweak their designs with CSS than in C++. Besides that, you can easily live-reload CSS, which is usually not the case with C++, requiring a recompile (as opposed to < 100ms) reloadpic.twitter.com/QDcCjJVMir

These days in web dev, CSS reloads also retain all of the app state. So you can tweak your styles to your heart's content without breaking flow.

Pretty sure you've talked about this before also, but in general, if you want to make something better, be it a game, or an app, or website, whatever, iteration is key. The faster you can iterate and move forward, the better your thing will be (generalizing). Native sucks at that
