How many web developers understand that a low-end integrated GPU on a laptop can draw full 4k screens of pixels at 3000 frames per second?

Do you have a test that illustrates this? I imagine this is only true if you're writing out a constant colour from your shader for all pixels on a full screen quad (presumably sent via as an expanded point). Do _any_ vertex work or a texture read and the performance will tank.

For sure, rendering something interesting at 3000fps on an Intel Graphics 530 is not going to happen. But we use these numbers in order to help gauge how effectively we are using the resources. Knowing these numbers, it would be difficult to consider a janky stuttering 20fps

to be fast or even reasonable performance, for example.
