How many web developers understand that a low-end integrated GPU on a laptop can draw full 4k screens of pixels at 3000 frames per second?

I do think it’s ironic that the announcement promises to run the browser on a 16-core vCPU Xeon despite the fact that browsers still peak at 1-2 cores per tab (and you only need 1 active tab). You’d probably be much better off using a 2-core HT 4.8 GHz system.

Part of the issue is that browsers have a hard time knowing which tabs can be un-prioritized. Scripts in non active tabs keep running. Eg. If you have a conference call or video going in a “non-active” tab you wouldn’t want that to terminate. Now imagine no of tabs people use.

Shouldn't you have picked the "pixel fill rate" which is 2.85GPixels/s rather than the "texel fill rate" which is almost 22.80GTexels/s?
