The pseudocode found around Wikipedia is a very interesting programming language to study. Very much in the Niklaus Wirth style, but untyped, and comfortable both with mathematical symbols in Unicode and with English prose to express logic. becomes obvious, because suddenly it looks like the stuff that programmers already do all the time, because that is what it is. (It also makes clear perf stuff, like ahh, these are going to be copies unless they can be eluded somehow).
