It was about "overlapping progress". Do you remember any info about it? Thanks.

Okay. If i was asking about it, it's because i find the topic of replayability / respect of players' time / rogue-*** (and a few others genres like h&s w/ heavy loot aspect like Diablo, PoExile, ...) quite interesting & i'm wondering about it lately. Loop Hero is a good case too.

I dunno, I think that design philosophy is kind of empty on its own and not really worth pursuing for its own sake unless you want to grow up to be rich but dead inside. It's useful to understand as an element of design skill but must not be used on its own.
