How you know almost all of these gaming laptop reviews are fake: almost none of the laptops have trackpad buttons any more, as if you are supposed to somehow game with tap-to-click and software-induced dead times when you click or press a key. Yet no reviewer comments on this.

The joke on all these people is that tap-to-click is *also* worse than trackpad buttons for work/web purposes (in fact for any purposes), but nobody seems to understand UI well enough to see that. But carrying the argument to that point is too deep a rathole.
More than anything, I think Twitter is a weird tool for seeing bulk thoughtlessness. It's how you see the response people have because they absorbed it from the environment, not because they reached it from original thinking (because by volume most beliefs are the former).

Ever since laptop screens went from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio - effectively shrinking the screen size - (plus, often adding thick bezels on top and bottom) to ridiculous degree at 15", it became painfully clear that laptop design has no critical thinking involved whatsoever.
