I am not sure if the messy stapling job is my fault. I got a D in the class since I barely showed up or did any of the work ... these notes are from one of the times I at least aspired to doing the homework, but I don’t remember if I did.

Been iterating on this topic for 15 years of occasional experiments. Identify all values that are equal according to some inference rules, including equality among containers with equal keys and values, and among equal pure functions called with equal parameters.

If one can do this, one can do a precise verification of functional logic programs without relying on a type system artifice, which I see as one of the yet-unfulfilled holy grails of programming language semantics. (Note: Haven't succeeded with this.)
