Do I dare ask what is the most reasonable way to debug a C++ program on Linux in 2020?

Any specific things you would want implemented/improved?

For me, edit and continue is a big one, but also easier ways of viewing the disassembly, inspecting registers, and moving the instruction pointer. All of which I resort back to the TUI for. Also the debug console is a bit irritating to use (doesn't thread command verbatim)

There is a minimal learning curve to figure out how to configure the launch and debug profiles, but I find it ends up more responsive than VS. the MSFT provided C++ LSP is also best-in-class (beats their own intellisense honestly)
