It's hit and miss. The overall % of contexts in which it "just works" continues to rise and is now respectably high - I have several machines where it just works, but a single unexpected BIOS setting, peripheral, installed package combo, and the entire thing goes haywire.

I have tested a lot of distros before I settled on Debian and the only problems I had were not having some certain program I needed or thing I forgot to set up because I didn't RTFM. -
Yeah same here, Dell XPS and a HP gaming laptop plus 2 desktops work great.
