Great talk! But why take that first negative email so seriously? The dude clearly had zero competency. Would you have given it the same consideration if he gave you equally as inept programming advice? (I understand it made a dramatic talking point, but still!)

Because, as I say, it is an example of what your game looks like to people when it isn’t done (and hasn’t gotten release + social credit). It is important to understand this phenomenon.
