I am going to get ahead of the curve and start my new company Mightier, because we know that after everyone switches to Mighty, that will become too slow. So you can use Mightier to use your Mighty to use Chrome to see the data on the server.

That's not how it works nowadays. Wix and http://Origin.com put JavaScript in your browser, load data from the server, build the website in your browser. JavaScript used to add a little interactivity to web pages. Today, you could do a lot of that in CSS.

Uh huh. Keep telling me how it makes sense that a supercomputer is required to draw text and images.

Wait, now you use Mighty to play games on Stadia, which gives you a client client client that removes both the inefficiencies of Chrome AND a AAA game! Of course make sure it is a multiplayer game such that you have a server server optimizing your client client client experience.

The market rewards that for which there is demand. There simply is more demand for software that is slow and bloated yet cheap because it took 2 weeks to develop in [X] by a team of 1, rather than an efficient equivalent that costs more because it took 6 months by a team of 4.
-
The winner takes all economy of software also promotes experimentation, which again means slow bloated yet quick to develop shit has a higher chance of success than the efficient but slow to ship version. If performance is not absolutely required, it will not be rewarded.
-
Unfortunately of course. I really lament the current state of most software.
