If I were Benevolent Dictator of San Francisco, one easy law I would pass tomorrow is that businesses get ticketed for trash/biological waste/foul smells on the sidewalk+street around the perimeter of their property. Conditions would improve QUICKLY.

You’re missing an underlying problem here in SF OK. under mayor Feinstein they removed the public toilets thinking they encouraged Street life. What is the result there is nowhere except as a paying customer to go to the bathroom. In Japan they have restrooms in the subway

I didn’t say “and don’t do absolutely anything else”.

But I will say, I never wanted to go anywhere near a San Francisco public restroom, they are scary. What exists now is the wrong way to do it.

Having sanitary facilities for the millions of visitors would be a courtesy to our guests. it’s really sad that we don’t make accommodations for peoples biological imperatives. That’s not the job of the merchants who are already dying from higher rents

San Francisco is already doing a multi tens of billion dollar20 year project to replace their brick sewers which are rotting away as they are approaching 100 years old they could easily put in some public bathrooms and the city would be way better off

Perhaps your next act would be to fine twitch streamers who don't mute their mic when eating?
