The downloader failing is obviously dumb, but so are manned flights to Jupiter. They cost a bajillon and nobody cares about them, except a niche group of sf enthusiasts. They were used as PR stunts in the cold war era, and now they may become a historical curiosity.
Wait what? Tell me about all these manned flights to Jupiter that were used as PR stunts.

It was an abbreviation, as per Twitter's limitations. US did the manned flight to the moon for PR reasons. If the cold war were to last longer, manned flight to planets could be the logical next chapters.
