Not playing is not winning. Microsoft is the winner this time really. Square Enix was OK and Ubisoft was OK? EA and Bethesda were quite bad.

The amount of social media traffic and ad revenue they've missed out on can't be ignored. But they have the console lead so it's theirs to lose, probably is best to be conservative at the end of this generation cycle.

I thought Square Enix's conference was pretty impressive all around. FF VII remake looks great. I love the Romancing Saga releases. Not much to hate there.
