That's not an accurate account of the discussion. I recommend watching the video when it's released to see what's actually said. In fact the interviewer says there's more of a diversity of themes, and I agree, but then say that's not what I am referring to.

Similarly for the rest of the write-up. I am a bit amazed that it's the middle of 2019 and people still don't know not to generate road rage over a game industry news summary of a discussion. I do speeches and livestreams all the time, and these never generate outrage mobs,

probably because people are accurately able to see what I am saying and how I am saying it. But this kind of news article is designed to obscure that, by its very format. Because they get more clicks. And everyone knows that. But they still get played. Whatever man.

Probably the words are accurate (I don't remember), but the words referred to something different from what the article says they do. As is very common in these things. The way that part of the discussion went was, I said I was not that impressed with where the development of

games has gone as a medium. The interviewer said, are you saying there hasn't been a big increase in diversity of people making games and in themes. I said no, I am not saying that, I am talking about a different thing, that's about pushing on the edges of the art of game design.
