Well, not necessarily. We are in a situation in which, already, most people wouldn't need to work or work as much as they do. It's a systemic change that needs to happen alltogether. I recommend reading a bit of David Graebers "Bullshit Jobs" where there is more detail

I mean, it definitely is a hot take, and however anglocentric it may be, there is some merit to that claim as redefinition and association of words have always been a way to change the public image of things (IMO). Though I can certainly understand.

If that were the only issue I would have kept reading, but he had been gradually losing me over the course of the book, and that was the last straw. I would say maybe the first 1/4 or 1/3 of the book is the part that is worth reading.
