Whoa. Happy to support with logistics if this becomes a thing.

I am thinking I would want to fire-and-forget with some small organization that does this for a living, but I don't know if some such organization exists. There are tons of small academic conferences, but maybe those use university staff to do it? Dunno.
-
(Among other reasons, I'd probably want to do it this year, you already have one conference coming this year, not good to accidentally put pressure on one due to the other, etc).

Would not attend in the US but I'd follow up the slides/recordings.

I couldn't attend in the US so I won't like, but I would be willing to pay money to view recordings/a live stream of it.

Ditto on this front. I'm fortunate enough to have my own corner of a code base at my current job and I've been trying to solidify the guiding principals of how it's written from a code style PoV. Something like "loose coupling and controlled scope" is the closest I've gotten.

I would attend this, even though it seems simpler not to.

I would totally attend this assuming date, location and cost are all within reason.

USA is far enough. May be Europe? I will attend if it will be Europe anywhere.

Would hosting it in Europe make sense in terms of return of investment? Easy to get to from the west and east, either way If you do decide to do it it fires up the energy to build something to present

100% if LA, elsewhere likely but less than 100%, if can't attend would also def pay for stream and recordings

I attended Casey Muratori's HandmadeCon, but there were insufficient women speakers. I would *love* to attend a simplification conference, but it would have to do better than Casey did at representation. DeconstructConf does pretty well?

If it were in washington I would definitely come

I decided to like this post, because seattle is in fact somewhere on the west coast. But I don't really know if this counts.

I am interested in the idea but am unsure if I would attend for practical reasons. My attendance would also depend heavily on the specifics of what was being explored at the conference.

I cannot guarantee I would attend but I would certainly at least seriously consider it (hence not liking it but speaking up). Even more so though I'd be trying to get other people from work to go who don't worry about simplicity enough.

It is not easy for some of us in other countries to attend to. So please consider streaming the conference online.

I'd watch all the talks once they're posted on YouTube.
