Youtube lost 6 hours of the stream. The thumbnail says 8 hours, but the video is 2 hours.

The translator is on both channels when I play the video, just a little quieter on the left ear, but still much louder than you. Not really sensible unfortunately. I guess I'll wait for a better/non-translated upload (that will hopefully come?).

Also you miss the point that now day seem that not even CPU manufacter can be able ti ship chip without bugs in it, look at the new vulnerability found in intel chip. I think a new era of good software should start from a new architecture development.

I don't miss that point at all, in fact I mention it obliquely on the "what to simplify" slide. It's just, look, I can't fit everything in the universe into a 1-hour talk.

I really hope the Russians won't make an idiotic voice-over translation that will make it impossible to watch even for people who know the language.

The current livestream appears to only add voiceover translations in the left audio channel, so I'm guessing this will be a listening experience with only the right part of my headphones on

on macOS i used "Sound Siphon" to route right audio channel to left. a lot better than listening with one ear.
