    We need to reinvent public safety to take everybody’s dignity into account. In the meantime is their a safe way for cops to lock of their guns before going to dinner (everybody has to eat)?

    Restaurant Hilda & Jesse in SF being berated for asking armed cops to leave at the request of staff. No easy answers here but the reality is that for a portion of our population, including many restaurant workers, the presence of armed cops triggers memories of violence.
