          Disagree, three anonymous reviewers do not magically make a paper sound. Rather it would be critically assess a paper and recruit expert opinions.

          If the peer-review process was that simple, you'd be seeing a lot more publications! after initial peer review there are significant major revisions and then minor revisions and then maybe the paper is accepted. A lot more rigorous than could be expected of the media.
