I’m pro-vaccine. I’m in favor of lots of extraordinary measures to get people vaccinated. But requiring proof of vaccination for interstate travel strikes me as one of the dumbest, most unworkable, and counter-productive ideas out there. I hope it stays on the drawing board.pic.twitter.com/OCT6CB8P9Y

Yeah, it's all of that, but more importantly it's a violation of our natural and constitutional rights.

Natural and constitutional rights don't mean all that much to Jonah in this case, though; he's all for any number of "extraordinary measures" after all.

Requiring proof of vaccination for air travel would make sense, right?

This is starting to be reminiscent of something out of East Germany.

I mean you can require it for getting on a train or a plane. But by car or even walking? Nah too cumbersome. Just require vaccines to be indoors anywhere and that’ll do the same thing.

Besides airports, how in the world do you enforce? State border checkpoints? Yeah that would be a good look... This is just impossibly stupid. Nice work everyone.

Meanwhile our border is wide open and being flooded with covid + people just being let in. Wild.
