    Tomorrow’s the big day. I get to meet a brand new person. He’s been kicking around for months, but tomorrow my role becomes a lot less passive and I have to aspire to a title worn by so many and yet wholly singular from his perspective. No pressure, no problem.

    If you ask him to help though he says, “I won’t deny you your destiny.” (Or something along those lines) and the game makes you do it anyway DLC changed this to where you survive or can ask him to go in, but instead of owning it they have Ron Pearlman’s narrator mock you for it.

    What makes this bad is that just a few story missions prior you get a super mutant partner that is immune to radiation. In fact you use him for this exact purpose on that mission. He’s even likely to be with you, because he’s the last companion you get before the ending.

    For those that don’t know *Spoilers* Fallout 3 ends w/ you trying to bring water back to the wasteland. The problem is that to do that you have to go in a room full of fatal levels of radiation. Thus sacrificing yourself for the greater good.

    Sometimes I just think about that original Fallout 3 ending and how even when they fixed it they made all the dialog really incredulous about it. What a truly weird thing.

    Seriously though, the things I loved about today's BlizzConline: + Presentation was great as was the site + Rogues in Diablo 4! + They went above and beyond on Diablo II, looks great, fingers crossed + Hearthstone's aesthetic continues to be stellar + Carbot is just the best
