Headlines like this are *infuriating*. Poorly researched, scaremongering and quite frankly ridiculous. Can confirm: I’ve dipped my finger in Cuckoo Spit and licked it, with no harmful effects, or indeed any effects at all πŸ˜‚πŸ‘€

Watching the webcast. Always interesting to see how many former Conservative councillors have forgotten that they were indeed Conservative councillors - some of them for decades - despite now declaring themselves to be on the side of local people. We see through you.

Charities are great with amazing volunteers and donors. But in a wealthy country, We shouldn't have communities relying on the work charities do. We shouldn't have families relying on foodbanks, or homeless people relying on soup kitchens. We've been royally fucked over.

🧡 It’s very concerning that 3% of families in the UK needed to use a food bank between April 2021 and March 2022. This figure rose to 16% for households who were accessing Universal Credit. This isn’t right. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-650509

I last saw my dentist in 2020. I go through periods of trying to get an appointment and just giving up from frustration. Today I miraculously got through. But since 2020 7 dentists left, they have 1 remaining and therefore can't give me an appointment. Ever. First I've heard!
Gary Lineker suspended by the BBC for upsetting the Conservatives because he stood up for some of the most vulnerable people in the world. The same BBC whose chairman gave the Conservatives Β£400,000 before helping to arrange an Β£800,000 loan for Boris Johnson

tens of thousands of migrants is NOT the same as millions or weirdly the billions Braverman was suggesting. check their facts and find the true numbers. Don't let bad journalism and propaganda brain wash you into thinking we are being invaded by millions of migrants!

Watch Susanna Reid tear Suella Braverman's 100 million people coming to the UK argument apart. "On what planet is that likely & how is that not inflammatory language?" #GMB

just disgraceful that an MP who was forced to leave over his shitty behaviour would even be allowed to have an honours list, let alone be allowed to nominate family members!

Is it time to reform the honours system?

Boris Johnson wants Ukraine to enjoy the wonders of the EU Single Market. Rishi Sunak wants Northern Ireland to enjoy the wonders of the EU Single Market. You would have to be a Special Kind Of Stupid to then deny the Single Market to Great Britain, wouldn't you? #ToriesOut236

Yesterday I was so honoured to be invited to give a talk at this symposium. Thank you so much and for inviting me. The other speakers were both fantastic and great discussions afterwards too.

I've enjoyed helping the , they're challenging nights and it's been tough to see so many people relying on their help and support. They do such a worthwhile venture and I'd encourage everyone to support similar groups wherever you are.

Not only were people queuing for food on Monday but a number of dogs were queuing to see @streetvetuk. It was a busy night, 74 people were served, with a number of people needing to talk about their housing situation. πŸ™ Jubb engineering, @PlymouthLabour #HopeBaptist @streetvetuk
