    For the record prescription drug price negotiation is the most popular of the 194 policies we’ve tested so far this year, with variants of the basic idea (IE, generic insulin, patent breaking, etc) making up four of the top five.

    I wonder what David Shor has to say on the polling dynamics of abandoning cheaper prescription drug prices in order to satisfy congressional moderates.

    What doesnt get factored into the vaccine debate enough is how the unvaxxed are effectively denying the vaccinated care by filling up the hospitals causing a huge amount of suffering and even death for the vaccinated.

    It is called lying. When people publicly claim to support something when they don't. I know that politicans do often lie but it is the job of the journalist to let the people know who is lying and when. A "message bill" is meant to be a message of what you will pass when you can.

    I’m not sure what to make of a political journalist that doesn’t draw a distinction between a message vote (i.e. a vote on a bill that won’t eventually be law) and a vote when the bill has the chance of being signed … Feels a bit more like an advocate than a journalist.
