In the popular vote, Sanders is an 87 percent favorite to win the most votes on first alignment. The two seem poised for an even split in the pledged delegates to the DNC

Buttigieg with a 74 percent chance to win the most SDEs, according to our estimates The returns so far are fundamentally representative, but Sanders has some credible pockets of remaining strength and there's uncertainty around the satellites

New idea. Iowa is still allowed to go first with the caucus but not allowed to report until after Super Tuesday. If you think this bad reporting is not a problem explain why this comprise wont be acceptable.

So are we just never going to get the remaining 38% of results?

Everything about the Iowa caucus that could go wrong to prove it is terrible did. Terrible result reporting. Unfair to people who cant take time off to caucus. Persons with the most votes and realignment votes somehow getting less delegates. Indefensible on every level.

Sanders insane demand was... count the votes and write them down in an election! Yeah it was not Sanders who broke the Iowa caucus. It was a bunch of party grifters. You should be able to count votes.

It's genuinely hilarious to say rules requiring that the popular vote be reported created intolerable complexity. You understand they report this number for basically every other election in the US and the world right?

They should pick a lane. Either release as they get them (no way 60% were all resolved within an hour of each other) or when finished. And I'm skeptical they've done the work to assess representativeness, even as smart people seem to think they're fine on that front.

American government feels more and more like a house fire except instead of trying to fix it the political leaders act like it is a lost cause so are trying to steal as much as they can before the house burns down.

suspecting that the reason the app looks so much like a conspiracy is because it was a conspiracy -- not to steal the caucus, but to perform an incestuous grift rife with kickbacks to launder a bunch of campaign money into friends and family's pockets

The Iowa caucus is a perfect metaphor for America politics right now. No matter how stupid and unfair something is we wont even begin talking about real reform until the entity publically faceplants on national TV, and even after that only like 50/50 anything real will change.

Not releasing results as they come in is deeply deeply troubling. You release once you verify. You dont hold results until you have enough to shape the narrative.

The WHOLE point of the Iowa caucus going first was to have results to inform other voters in future states. People are voting right now in California. This delay is truly unacceptable and campaign that strategies were based on it are right to be furious.
