I am a liberal. I have never voted for a Republican in my life and never plan to, and I have many progressive values. So I can’t stand what people like @Chesaboudin and the @sfbos are doing to the city of my birth. It’s time for them to go

Maybe never having Republican is the problem. Question: on which in San Francisco City Hall would you blame for the city’s condition?

The fact that Patrick chooses to signal his liberal bonafides rather than address the inevitable outcome of progressivism running its course is why he deserves the city he gets.

I’m not virtue-signaling my liberal calling card, I am demonstrating that even the liberal left is fed up with the current failed leadership in San Francisco.

That's why 7 of the current 11 BoS members support Chesa? That's why the list of endorsements for him is a mile long, including Progressives and Moderates? That's why Wiener won't support the recall and told me that "Chesa is doing the job that the voters of SF sent him to do?"

@pgwolf2 I rest my case. I'm not sure if anything this loon is saying is correct; I know Wiener just publicly came out in support of the school board recall for example. But I know liberals and progressives make for strange bedfellows.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

I talked to Scott myself at the YIMBY gala. He knows me pretty well, I am a long time supporter of his. We talked about the BoE recall as well. You can call me a "loon" if you like. The things I vote for almost always win locally. I am pretty close to the middle of SF politics.

I wouldn’t call you a loon, you just don’t agree with me on everything, and that’s fine. Like you, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Sf *needs* improvement and I don’t see it coming from current leadership

I called him a loon. It's the same old utopian claptrap that fills the streets with crime and misery.

Violent crime has been declining in San Francisco for a very long time.
