Over the past 20 years RoI has backed UK in EU. Enda Kenny was Cameron's most passionate EU supporter in 2016 when PM looked for EU deal. The two countries worked together regarding Northern Ireland. Eaten bread is soon forgotten? Stand up for GFA, & RoI suddenly is the bad guy.

Irish people and Dublin establishment are far from the same.

The "Dublin establishment" supported the UK over the past 20 years. As I said, eaten bread is soon forgotten. All Irish government has done now is insist the Belfast Agreement is protected in Brexit. The Irish people support that. Should be an easy ask. It's UKs agreement too.

Article 349 would allow all of the border issues fixed. Dublin hasnt raised it because it isnt interested. Varadkar too busy giving succour to his big friends on the continent who will in turn screw your people.

This 349? http://www.lisbon-treaty.org/wcm/the-lisbon-treaty/treaty-on-the-functioning-of-the-european-union-and-comments/part-7-general-and-final-provisions/592-article-349.html … Applied to NI? You've got it upsidedown. Irish government campaigned to get the Agreement prioritised in talks. It's all Varadkar talks about. Do you think the UK should walk away from Belfast Agreement, an international treaty 20 yrs old?

Sinn Fein walked away.

Walked away from the Assembly. The Belfast Agreement still exists, is still an international agreement lodged in the UN, UK still has obligations under it.

The agreement is with RoI. RoI is a willing partner. Too willing for your liking apparently.

Sinn Féin is not the Irish government. Do I need to repeat who the UKs partners in the Belfast Agreement are?https://mobile.twitter.com/cathyby/status/994505523360948224 …
