Again, you don’t need British citizenship to be integrated and having British citizenship doesn’t guarantee integration. Besides, in the EU there is the concept of EU citizenship, which up to now the U.K. has been part of.

EU citizenship is something that matters to many people, obviously not to you. Similarly they are many Scottish and Irish in NI who don’t feel they are British citizens.

Scottish who want independence are “scum” and should leave Scotland, while English who want to leave the EU want sovereignty and “their country back”. Your double standards don’t make for a good argument.

The UK is not a country, is a state made of different countries. Scotland is a country. Scottish independents would argue British citizenship is forced on them and would happily drop their British passport in favor of a Scottish one, which might happen with Brexit and devolution.
