It hasn't though. We have an underfunded care system leading to huge waste in acute care. That's not crisis, its crap policy.

Seeing elderly patients in bed in hospital for months awaiting placement. Crap IT crashing often. No internal audit on level 2 and 3 care use, or even for radiology. Speaking as a sho. Theaters a joke in many centres.

We obviously work(ed) in different trusts. I can't say I saw any of that. Sure, some things needed improving (they always will) but on the whole it worked bloody well, given the lack of funds.
