Morning @UnionVoteScot. Could you explain your thinking when you say voting for A4U in South Scotland "will likely cost a Unionist seat"? If Labour and the Conservatives retain their constituency seats, every 2nd vote to A4U is worth 2 Labour votes and 5 Conservative votes there.

1. "if" - Lab/Con could lose seats at constituency level and rely on the list. 2. You've still not given any indication you can win enough votes to take a seat, but you can certainly take enough votes off Unionists to let the SNP in

1. Are you suggesting everyone should vote Labour or Conservative twice in case they don't win enough constituency seats? 2. The opposite of this is true. I have provided several projections which show switching 2nd votes from main parties to A4U takes seats from the SNP.

1. Yes 2. Other projections say otherwise- but basic common sense says splitting the Unionist vote isn't a good ideapic.twitter.com/JL7tU0K0I1

1. Over 400,000 Unionist votes were wasted in 2016 by voting for losing Conservative constituency candidates. Now you want to repeat this and waste Conservative 2nd votes? Absolutely not. 2. Switching from Con/Lab/LD to A4U takes SNP seats without needing any additional votes.

Here is an example of an incredibly optimistic (~60k) switch to A4U which still costs a Unionist seat in South Scotland. We can't really game the regional like that Nats can because in many regions they are winning all or all but 1 seat.pic.twitter.com/cqq5YCDZpj

With a very achievable 37% swing to A4U in South Scotland and no change in constituency seats, the net gain is +1 to pro-UK parties. Show me a projection that achieves this result by voting Lab/Con or Con/Lab with no additional votes going to Unionist parties. Use any region.

Polling from early march has "Other" on 4%, so 37% does seem optimistic at this stage. If the situation changes i will update the guidance.pic.twitter.com/59dRcK5H5A
