A 4% NHS pay rise is not a bribe. The SNP have read the room on this. There has been low wage increases in the NHS for a long time. Yes it means in theory less money to spend elsewhere, but one has to factor in the cost of the loss of staff to other sectors as the econ recovers.

Furlough and business grants are different things. It seems many business owners in Scotland have received nothing, but if their business had been in England support would have been made available.They can’t just magic up 4% from nowhere-others are losing out because of it

Pick them up on it. That's your target. Don't let the Nats bait you. I can seem harsh at times but it's because it's essential we get the narrative right. They are expecting unionists to attack a 4% rise. We need to show it's supportable but like everything it's a trade off
