A 4% NHS pay rise is not a bribe. The SNP have read the room on this. There has been low wage increases in the NHS for a long time. Yes it means in theory less money to spend elsewhere, but one has to factor in the cost of the loss of staff to other sectors as the econ recovers.

The SNP will rightly say the other parties are just playing catch up and nobody will care because they know neither Labour nor Tory promises matter because they won’t win anyway. Our opposition is appalling.
