A 4% NHS pay rise is not a bribe. The SNP have read the room on this. There has been low wage increases in the NHS for a long time. Yes it means in theory less money to spend elsewhere, but one has to factor in the cost of the loss of staff to other sectors as the econ recovers.

It’s stolen money. The UK provided massive funds to the Scot Gov. Instead of spending them on Covid relief they stole it to give to NHS workers How would you like if I stole your money to give to my friends?
-
"stole it to give it to NHS workers" Mate, who do you think has been doing the actual fight against Covid? Who has been working day and night to keep people from dying in intensive care?

How many move into the higher tax band, taxes will probably have to go up again next year to pay for it, sounds good now but there’s always a twist

I am glad. They deserve the moon, however don’t you think to give this rise at the cessation of parliament is a bit tacky?
-
Yes and they can do that. We have to roll with what we are given. Opposition is not whatifery. That's a mug's game.

It’s a bribe pure and simple. Spin it how you like. You can’t afford it. What about shop keepers, bin men, bus drivers, etc. If you can’t se it then you are part of the bribe.

Using MP's and MSP's wage rises as justification is ridiculous Where is the evidence of people leaving The NHS I have loads of friends that work for The NHS and they have no intention of leaving The SNP are using it as a political football
-
Why would they when they’ve had full pay throughout & a guaranteed job when thousands have lost theirs - retail, hospitality etc
