We are going to use Trident for decades. It makes sense to close Aldermaston and move EVERYTHING in our nuclear arsenal to Scotland. No point moving bombs up and down the UK in lorries to service them. Do it all in Scotland. Much easier + plus 4000 jobs to be had.
Whats radioactive? A few machine, lathes and a meltshop that will be moved? Capenhurst and Risley have been redeveloped.

It can be rebuilt in Scotland. Plenty of early research sites like Harwell have been successfully decommissioned.
