Britain could use a Green Party. By that I don't mean wokey climate cultists. I mean an actual green party concerned with sustainability, conservation, animal welfare and food quality. By its very nature it would be both conservative and fervently eurosceptic.
"Carbon free electricity through nuclear, tidal and offshore wind. Tax breaks for recycling wastes. Habitat protection written into trade deals. Foreign aid to fund eco-friendly technology and knowledge transfer. Deposit schemes for glass and plastic. Incinerator tax."
