NI....divided from GB Vaccine seizures threatened Fish stocks strongarmed from us Damn right we push back. The EU is supremacist and responds best to clear messaging. Else it will keep pushing.
The negotiations were punitive, following from a Remainer Parliament that undermined No Deal. What we have is a hostile deal. So be it. They're not our friends. Neighbours, not friends. Never allies.

The agreement on fish stocks was agreed post Johnson's GE victory under the FTA when he had an 80 seat majority. NIP was part of the WA which was known and which Johnson put to the UK electorate in 2019. Johnson, a key Leave campaigner, agreed all of this.

Parliament never had chance to amend the appalling treaty, so it is not binding on Parliament.

What we have is a deal, as
@BEERG points out, which Boris Johnson negotiated and signed and was passed into law by your parliament. Do they bear any responsibility for anything? -
Govt yes, Parliament no. No chance given to amend a contrived treaty.

No, what the UK has now is the consequence of leaving the Single Market, loss of the 4 freedoms of movement. People were warned repeatedly what the consequence would be but were completely dismissive. At least be pleased that the UK got one thing right, the vaccine orders.

Assuming they are delivered to the UK....

Clearly history isn’t your strongest suit. Britain has always allied with continental powers.
