I agree, now that the Germans have agreed the Molotov-Ribbentrop gas pipeline, NATO has no real purpose. The Baltic 3? Undefendable. The Balkans-who'd want them? The rewst - if they can't be bothered to pay enough to defend themselves, why should we? NATO is redundant, thankfully
Why? What have we got out of it? Freeloading neighbours. They just pay fair. They don't play fair. They threaten the UK with access to markets, our power supply, our resources, now our vaccines. The UK can be much more exclusive and much less reliable

Not sure how the EU is freeloading? Surely more the other way around? The UK benefits from EU solidarity/stability, but played no part in building it in this process. So while the Commission was herding 27 cats, the UK was able to be more nimble.

Fine, we can take our forces with us. The EU can call on the Dutch and Luxembourgers if it has any eastern issues to address.
