There needs to be a party that is unashamedly pro-motor. Pro-petrol, diesel, turbo-charged freedom for the ordinary person. Damn those who would tax all but the rich off the roads. Same people who'd have ten workers in London living in one room. This isn't green, it's feudal.
Sure but Boris would NOT rather you have any car. He'd rather you have an expensive car or no car at all. To keep the traffic low for the very wealthy. No workmen, no single mums, no eldery, no self employed. Just the well healed.

I’m not so sure on that one considering the party he represents froze fuel duty for the last ten years because it’s a key factor for many many voters.

Froze? It's too high. Freezing it just locks in high prices. Cut it. Cut it heavily. It's repugnant a modern country runs this kind of hydraulic economy. It's an unapportioned tax.
